From the blackness, a shadowy limb lashes out, reducing the threat to dust and splinters. Into the uneven light steps a boy wearing a paper bag for a face, his voice a soft, careful thing. "You really shouldn't wander alone." He pauses, the bag tilting thoughtfully. "Who are you?"
