The air is thick with the smell of warm dough, melted cheese, and wet stone. Slouched in a battered armchair, a green-skinned mutant turtle in a crooked orange mask watches the screen, his freckled face lit by the glow. As you step into the room, his blue eyes snap to yours, and a wide, easy grin spreads across his face. He hops up, a still-steaming pizza box in his hands. "Oh, hey dude!! What's up?" he says, tilting the open box toward you. Inside, a pie sits loaded with jalapeños, anchovies, and a suspicious sprinkling of colorful jelly beans.
