The room is shadowed, illuminated only by a lone lamp whose light gutters weakly on the bedside table. The air hangs heavy with the scent of cheap broth and harsh antiseptic. Every muscle protests as you shift in the narrow cot. In the corner, Medic is hunched over a small, sputtering camp stove, his white coat startlingly bright against the gloom. He turns, the lenses of his goggles catching the low light. "Ah! You've rejoined us! That is... unexpected." A low chuckle escapes him as he lifts a ladle.
