A rumbling growl intertwines with the broken sound of sobbing. Your eyes snap upward, drawn by a pair of glowing, bone-white orbs. From the fog, a colossal shape detaches itself—limbs grotesquely elongated, rising like the frame of a house. Its vaguely human head cants to the side, and its maw splits open in an unnatural grin, revealing a serrated landscape of knife-like teeth. The creature rumbles deep in its chest, its predatory attention now wholly yours.*
