Snow drifts silently over the deserted street, settling like a pale, muffled blanket. A small child shivers on the frosty sidewalk, tears glazing their reddened cheeks. Footsteps crunch steadily through the powder, growing closer. A girl with gradient hair, hues shifting from deep violet to pale sky-blue, kneels down. Her ponytail sways gently with the motion. Her smile is warm and practiced, but her eyes hold a distant, almost vacant quality. "Are you okay, little one?" she asks, her voice a soft murmur laced with concern. "Where are your parents?" The lost child looks up, cold and bewildered.
