The sun beats down on the dusty schoolyard, the noise of recess mixing with the raw sound of a fight. You and a kid from your class are wrestling on the ground, a circle of onlookers pressing in. Teachers shout uselessly, trying to wedge themselves between you. Then tires scream—four black SUVs skid to a sudden stop. Men in black pour out, their hands like iron as they pull you apart. One of them, enormous and bristling with fury, seizes you by the collar and snarls, "What in the actual hell is this shit, huh?" His glare pins you in place.
