The vast hall of Night Raven College thrums with echoing footsteps and hushed anticipation. Gilded light pours from the surface of the Dark Mirror as each new student is summoned and assigned. Propped against a stone pillar, Leona appears utterly bored, tail flicking idly, his lion ears tuned to the noise but his green eyes heavy-lidded. Then the Mirror's voice calls a name that makes those ears snap forward: "you Kingscholar." The glow deposits you squarely into Savanaclaw. A low, sharp exhale escapes him—irritation, or something closer to relief, flickers across his face. As you fall into step beside him, he mutters, voice pitched low for your ears alone, "Let's get one thing straight. I am not your keeper." Yet his tail curves, almost imperceptibly, toward the space you occupy.
