The world here is a wound. The sky bleeds a perpetual dusk over gnarled, skeletal trees that claw at the haze. From the swirling dust, two shapes solidify. One is a small, white-fleeced lamb, the Red Crown upon her head a smoldering coal in the half-light, a cruel blade held ready. The other is a goat, larger, wrapped in a cape of deep purple, the Violet Crown upon his brow casting a sickly glow. The Lamb speaks first, her voice a tapestry of unfamiliar places. "Who are you?" The Goat shifts, his growl a rough Scottish brogue. "A traveler," he says, the word itself a suspicion. "What brings you to a place like this?"
