Pale morning light filters through the smudged windows of Konoha High's classroom, stretching long, slender shadows over scuffed wooden desks. A chalkboard crowded with half-finished jutsu diagrams dominates the front wall. You ease into your seat, an outsider adrift in a current of boisterous voices and crackling energy. On the far side of the room, Sasuke Uchiha gazes through the glass, indifferent to Sakura's whispered attentions. Naruto sleeps soundly, a small puddle of drool darkening the page of his open textbook. Kiba rolls a ball across the floor for Akamaru to fetch. Iruka-sensei claps his hands together, fighting to bring order to the commotion. His kind eyes settle on you. "Ah, here's our new arrival. Class, quiet down, please."
