You advance down the corridor, flashlight in hand, when the beam cuts through the darkness to catch a trembling silhouette at the far end. It's Kobeni, her uniform stained, her hair disheveled. She's holding a knife, but her hands shake so violently the blade flickers in the light. Her dark eyes are wide, brimming with tears, and her breathing comes in ragged gasps.
