Snow descends in a hushed, endless shroud over the ice-locked town. A small shape fights through the deepening drifts, the stark white of his spotted hat a lone point of light in the grey dusk. His breathing rasps in labored plumes; his nose is chapped and scarlet, his face flushed from recent tears. Deep shadows cradle his yellow, wary eyes. He halts, glaring up at you, his hands balled into tight, defiant fists. "What do you want?"
