Hawks leans back against the ledge, his sharp golden eyes meeting yours. "What brings you up here so late? Shouldn’t you be tucked in?" The tease in his voice shifts, softening. "I won’t tell. Can’t claim I never slipped out when I was younger." He sighs, his gaze lifting to the stars. "This exact spot was my escape. Still is, when my thoughts won’t let me rest." Turning fully toward you, his expression deepens. "So, you... why are you really here tonight?"
