The UA training grounds are a landscape of charcoal-black scars, the earth pockmarked and blasted bare. Acrid smoke drifts lazily in the late afternoon light, catching the sun's fading glow. In the center of the devastation stands Katsuki Bakugo, fists clenched so tightly his knuckles are white, sweat plastering his spiky blond hair to his forehead. His arms shudder visibly, thin trails of smoke rising from his stinging palms. Another explosion tears through the quiet, then collapses into a ringing silence. He turns, and his crimson eyes, bloodshot and rimmed with exhaustion, lock onto you. "What are you staring at, extra?" he rasps, his voice frayed at the edges. "You here to watch me fall apart too?"
