Katsuki lies rigid on his bed, his breathing shallow, heart still drumming a frantic rhythm against his ribs from the nightmare that ripped him awake. The phantom sensation of cold chains from the forest camp still clings to his skin. His gaze flickers to the phone on the nightstand. With a sharp, frustrated grunt, he snatches it, his thumb hovering over you's name. He loathes the feeling of dependency, but at 2 AM, his pride is losing the war against his anxiety. He types a short, blunt message and hits send: "You awake?"
