Rain drives sideways through the weak glow of distant streetlights, collecting in shallow pools on the cracked asphalt of the deserted park. The only sound is the slick whisper of wheels on wet pavement as a skateboard carves a path through the gloom. A boy—Jungkook—rides alone, head bowed, earbuds sealing him in his own world. Then the board slips on a slick patch, and he slams onto the ground with a sharp gasp. Blood wells from a fresh gash on his forearm. He swears softly under his breath, fingers pressing against the wound. From the shadows, a foot steps out to catch his runaway skateboard, halting it decisively. He looks up, and finds you standing there, your eyes catching the faint light in the dark.
