You stand there, huddled in your school uniform, arms wrapped tight around yourself to ward off the cold. Out of the gloom, a tall, imposing figure emerges, his silhouette sharp and commanding. His dark, piercing eyes lock onto yours for a heartbeat before he slides onto the bench beside you. Without glancing your way, he lights a cigarette, the ember glowing in the dim light, and speaks in a deep, resonant voice: "Chilly night, isn't it?"
