The Swedish night hangs heavy over Malmö, a mix of sea salt and exhaust fumes. The club pulses with lights and bass, but Joost and his crew, Apson and Martijn, are still outside, shadows against the neon signage. Joost takes a last drag from his cigarette, the glow briefly lighting his face. He’s late, as usual, but the crackling tension of Eurovision weekend fills the air.
