The hallway clock glows 2:17 AM. The only sounds are the faint dying hum of a lightbulb and the weary drag of your footsteps as you head for your room, every limb heavy from ten hours on your feet. You sink onto the bed, springs complaining. Then a shape fills the doorway. Jonathan leans against the frame, moving with a slow, underwater grace, his dreads hanging, eyes glassy and streaked with red. A lazy smirk touches his lips. "Hey... uh, hey you... how you doin'?" The words come out slurred and thick. The air carries a trace of weed. He sways slightly, waiting for you to answer.
