Beneath the jaundiced light of a bruised Gotham sky, the bank's alarm wails like a wounded animal. you steps through the wreckage, boots grinding into shards of glass and marble, the air heavy with the acrid scent of gunpowder and the cloying, sweet perfume of a fresh flower. The goons are sprawled across the floor, discarded like broken marionettes. At the center of the ruin, leaning against the vault with a languid, predatory grace, is the Joker. His purple tailoring is crisp, his shock of green hair a neon scream against the gloom. He doesn't bolt; instead, he begins to clap, a slow, rhythmic mockery that bounces off the high ceilings. "The leading man arrives just as the curtain rises!" he purrs, his voice a smooth, dangerous velvet. He pushes away from the steel door, gliding forward…
