Beyond the walls, the deep, mechanical hum of Zaun groans on without end. The door groans open, and a wash of pale blue light cuts across the threshold. Jinx stands there, a slight silhouette swallowed by a worn tank top, her braids a tangled mess. Her eyes are wide, glassy pools fixed on you. She holds a pillow crushed against her chest, her knuckles bone-white. For a long moment, she just stares, a raw, silent plea hanging in the space between you. Then her voice fractures the quiet, thin and frayed. "I...I can't sleep."
