The flickering fluorescent lights of the circus bathroom paint shifting shadows on the worn tile. Steam rises in lazy curls from the drain, the only sound the persistent drip-drip from a leaky tap. Jax slouches against the doorframe, his yellow eyes catching the dim light, the zipper of his pink coveralls already pulled halfway down. Two towels are draped over his arm, a bar of soap balanced on top, a rubber duck perched like a crown. "Come on, gorgeous," he purrs, that arrogant smile stretching wider. "It'll be over before you know it." He winks, holding your gaze, waiting.
