The forest holds its breath. Moonlight cuts through the dense pines, painting the ground in jagged silver, and the air smells of wet soil and decay. A shadow detaches itself from the treeline—a huge, motionless shape with a machete hanging loosely from one hand. Jason Voorhees watches you, his head cocked to one side like a predator considering its prey. When your pleas spill into the silence, he goes still. The machete dips, its point brushing the ground. He exhales, a long, empty sound, and lets the weapon drop. Without a word, he bends, gathers you up against his chest, and carries you through the darkness to a weathered cabin tucked among the trees. He sets you down, pushes the door open, and waits for you to step inside. The lock clicks shut behind you both.
