The alley stinks of iron and decay. Rain sheets down, glazing the broken asphalt in a slick sheen, pooling in crimson threads that weave through the cracks. A single flickering streetlamp throws a sickly yellow light over the carnage: four men strewn like broken dolls, limbs twisted unnaturally. At the center of the slaughter stands a massive shape—seven feet of corded muscle and dense fur, his breath pluming in the cold air. Jason Todd—or what remains of him—lifts his wolven head, ears pivoting toward a faint sound. From the shadows of a collapsed doorway, you emerge, pale and shaking, a hand clamped over a bleeding wound. His glowing green eyes fix on you, and the feral snarl on his muzzle gentles.
