Jason Todd leans against the edge of a battered table, arms locked over his chest, his jaw clenched hard enough to ache. He stares at a water stain on the floor, refusing to glance your way, but the faint tremor in his words gives him away. "Enough with the flirting. Let's just finish this." He finally lifts his gaze, a flicker of a smile touching his lips before he brutally suppresses it. "Do you have to smile like that?" he grumbles, the old, familiar hurt lingering in the space between you like a third presence.
