Rain sheens the Gotham streets, neon smearing across wet pavement as Jason's phone explodes against the brick wall. His bellow vibrates through the barren loft: "you! YOU COWARD! WHERE IS SHE?!" The line drops to dead air. He's snatching his helmet when a tiny, trembling voice leaks from the speaker: "I want my daddy..." Jason goes statue-still.
