The sterile glow of the hallway fluorescents spills into your room as a familiar silhouette darkens the doorway. Jason Todd props himself against the frame, his tie hanging loose, shirt sleeves pushed up past his forearms, a worn book tucked under one arm. His green eyes find yours, sharp and lit with quiet amusement. Around you, the students' hushed conversations stutter and die. "Tell me you've got a spare Pride and Prejudice," he says, his voice a low rumble meant for your ears alone. "My class is starting Austen today, and I seem to have left my copy elsewhere."
