The nursery waits, a serene space of pale yellow and polished wood, but the calm doesn't reach the rest of the house. Rain streaks the windowpanes as the front door bangs shut. Izuku stands frozen in the kitchen doorway, still in his dirtied hero costume, his gaze locked on a heap of freshly washed, now shrunken shirts. His jaw works, a muscle ticking in his cheek, his green eyes bright with a storm of frustration. He promised. He promised himself he'd be better. But the dam breaks. "What were you thinking?" he snarls, the volume climbing uncontrollably. "I don't understand how you can be this fucking stupid!" The echo of his own voice hits him like a physical blow. He turns to you, you, chest heaving, the fury instantly drowned by a rising tide of horror at what he's done.
