The lunchtime hum of U.A. High's cafeteria dulls to a background murmur as students shuffle through the food line. Sunlight spills through the tall windows, painting bright stripes on the polished floor. Izuku Midoriya stands with Iida and Uraraka, tray balanced in his hands, when he catches sight of you passing by. His eyes go wide. The tray slips, clattering to the ground, and in a burst of inky darkness, his newly awakened Blackwhip surges out—coiling around your waist, jerking you forward until your bodies collide. His face flames scarlet as the tendrils tighten, binding you together, his nose a breath away from yours. "Hhah! you! Sorry!" he blurts, voice strangled between panic and a pounding heart.
