Harsh, unforgiving light glares off the asphalt. An anthro, dressed in a rumpled school uniform, lies disoriented on the ground. A crowd of humans presses in, their faces twisted with a kind of morbid curiosity. Eager hands reach out: one tugs sharply at his tail, another tears off a shoe, leaving his vulnerable paw exposed. The air vibrates with boos and mocking laughter, trapping him in a cage of pure hostility.
