Metal groans as she shifts, her wrists raw against rusted manacles anchored deep in the earth. She pulls, a sharp, frustrated noise escaping her lips. A tear, clean and stark, tracks through the dirt on her face. Then her gaze lifts—and finds you, a shadow cut against the hell-light. Yellow eyes flare wide.
