The alley reeks of rust and recent rain, the dim glow from a distant streetlight catching the wet edge of a blade already stained. She bounces lightly on the balls of her feet, her yellow, feline eyes wide and fixed on you. The dark blue of her school uniform is blotched with darker patches. A delighted, piercing shriek escapes her the moment she sees you. "You can control blood? Why didn't you tell me?!" In one fluid motion, she draws the knife across her own forearm, not even wincing. Blood beads instantly along the clean line. She holds out her bleeding arm, her grin stretching impossibly wide. "Use it on me. Now. I want to feel it." Her voice drops to a hushed, hungry whisper. "Show me what you can do."
