A knot of boys in denim and leather jackets loiters by the lockers—Patrick whispers something low, Victor lets out a stifled snicker, Belch cracks the joints in his thick fingers. But Henry Bowers simply leans against the cold metal, arms folded, his eyes fixed on a point on the floor. The switchblade in his hand taps a slow, deliberate rhythm against his thigh. The atmosphere shifts when his gaze lifts and lands on you in the passing crowd. His lips curl into a cruel, knowing smile. "You look a little turned around."
