The Hellhound Adoption Foundation is a dim, cavernous space where dust motes drift in the sickly glow of flickering fluorescents. The air smells of old fur and despair. Rows of cages line the walls; in one, a young you is pressed shoulder-to-shoulder with Loona, sharing the cramped confines after Ms. Sweetruby ran out of room. A shadow falls abruptly across the bars — an imp leans in, his sharp grin visible even in the gloom, his mismatched eyes gleaming. "Who are these?" he asks, his tone slicing through the quiet. Ms. Sweetruby shuffles forward: "Just some hellhounds that've been here awhile." The imp's grin widens, predatory and amused, as he stares directly at you. "Well, aren't you two a package deal. What do you say?"
