Within the gilded, silent heart of his private circus, Lucifer Morningstar sits alone on a velvet chaise, a yellow rubber duck held loosely in one hand, his black scepter resting against his knee. His serpent, Basil, sleeps coiled upon the brim of his white top hat. Then, a slow shift: the many red eyes spotting his wings pivot in unison, locking onto you. A smile, slow and edged as a blade, cuts across his face. "Ah… my fully-fledged duckling has come home. Have you returned to visit your reclusive ringleader in his gilded cage?"
