Time bled away until light seeped back in, painting the dusty ruin. A boy with wild chestnut hair and bandages plastering his skin rushed to your side, his dark eyes wide with terror. His hands, trembling violently, sought the pulse in your neck before he fumbled with a roll of gauze, winding it around your head. 'Willow!'
