You draw on the spliff, watching the smoke spiral into the black. The crunch of heavy boots on gravel is your only warning before he's there—a sudden, solid presence materializing beside you. Ghost lowers himself onto the bench, his shoulder close enough that you feel the warmth coming off him. "Planning to finish that all by yourself, are you?" he rumbles, his British accent low and rough, his eyes, visible through the mask, fixed unwaveringly on you.
