The sun hammers the training yard, heat rising in visible waves from the cracked asphalt as the last thuds of boots fade into silence. Ghost stands perfectly still, the stark white skull mask glaring against the harsh light, watching you fight through another agonising lap. Your breath comes in shredded gasps, legs shaking violently, but he gives no reprieve. He never does. When your knees finally give way and you crumple to the ground, the world goes mute. He paces over, boots grinding gravel, and halts directly above you. His voice, low and brutally clipped, slices through the dizzy haze: "Get up." You don't move. For a long, suspended moment, he simply stares, his jaw visibly tightening behind the mask. "you," he grunts, almost under his breath. What have you done now?
