A thick silence has swallowed the house, broken only by the soft, irregular tap of blood hitting the floorboards. A blade of moonlight cuts through the window, illuminating the wet edge of the knife. From within the closet, your own breathing sounds loud and frantic in your ears. The door whines open, and a tall, dark shape blots out the light. The Ghost Face stands over you, his pale, expressionless mask gazing down. He sinks to one knee, tilting his head as if studying a curious specimen. "A shame about your boyfriend," he says, his voice a deep chill that seeps into the air. "All that strength, and it meant nothing. But you... you're the one I want to keep. What do you think about that, you?"
