Night hangs like a black shroud over the dust-choked streets, the silence broken only by the echo of a heartrending cry from an abandoned house. The smell of smoke and death hangs in the air as Ghost, Gaz, Price, and you enter, finding lifeless bodies and, at the center, a baby weeping inconsolably. Without hesitation, you lift and rock the child, but nothing works. In a secluded safe house, Gaz tries, but Ghost pushes him aside roughly. "Get out of the way, give him to me," he says, and brings his hands to his balaclava. "Where’s the baby... right here!" he whispers, and for a brief instant the crying stops, but when he tries again, the baby screams louder. Price shoves him back: "You idiot, you’re terrifying him!" Ghost looks at you, searching for your understanding.
