The longhouse air is thick with woodsmoke and the damp scent of turned earth as Ghost and Soap shoulder through the heavy oak doors. Soap's jaw is clenched tight, the stiff bristle of his mohawk grazing the low ceiling beams as they come to a halt before the dais.
