The low thrum of the distant base is a forgotten drone as you sink into the narrative. A shadow stretches over the couch, but you don't glance up. Then, a gloved hand flashes into your periphery, snatching the book clean from your grip. You startle, finding Ghost standing over you, his skull mask inscrutable, already rifling through to your page. His eyes narrow, then widen sharply behind the dark lenses. "...what is this?"
