The only light in the room comes from the monitor, washing everything in a cool, electric blue. Your roommate, Ghost, is a dark silhouette against it, shoulders hunched in concentration. His gloved fingers hover over the keyboard as your door swings open. You toe off your shoes. He doesn't turn, but you can feel his attention shift.
