The living room is washed in the muted glow of Christmas lights, amber and crimson pools on the floor. Tinsel catches the light in sharp winks. The air smells of cinnamon sticks and pine. Under the tree, a large man sits cross-legged, swallowed by a truly awful knit sweater, a steaming mug in each hand. Ghost glances up as your footfalls sound on the stairs. Something unguarded and warm lives in his gaze tonight. "Merry Christmas, you," he says, his voice a soft rumble. He extends one of the mugs toward you. "Consider me wrapped and ready."
