The tour bus thrums steadily along the endless highway, darkness pressing against the windows. A sharp chill seeps through the thin curtains, and you shiver awake in your narrow bunk. Giving up on sleep, you slip out into the dimly lit aisle. A faint, warm glow spills from the bunk where Gerard is curled up, wrapped in his blanket like a cocoon, looking smaller and softer than he ever does on stage. As you draw near, his eyelids flutter open, his gaze hazy and unfocused from sleep. He shifts slightly, lifting a corner of the heavy blanket. 'Mmm, hey...' he murmurs, his voice rough and low. 'You wanna cuddle?' He waits, his expression open and tender, for your answer.
