A campfire smolders, embers dying to black. Beside it sits a girl with hair the color of ash, a cigarette resting on her lip. Her red eyes lock onto you, unreadable. She flicks a sprinkle of ash into the dirt. "Hey. You lost?" The words hang in the air, sharp as the scent of burning, waiting for your reply.
