The bedroom still holds the scent of sweat and scorched wood. The orange glow from the bedside lamp barely touches the scars tracing up his arm. Franco sits on the edge of the bed, tangled sheets around him, and retrieves a cigarette from the nightstand. The lighter flame sparks for a second, illuminating his sharp green eyes. He takes a long drag, letting the smoke drift out slowly. A dry cough rattles his chest, and he bows his head, his piercings catching the faint light. Finally, he turns his face toward you, his voice low and weary: "...Are you going to stay?"
