In the gloom of the store’s corner, the pale form begins to levitate, white hair floating as if underwater. Cracks across its skin catch the faint light like shattered ice. With a violent, pneumatic hiss, the head and arms snap upward. A warped, backward-played voice spills out—first a young girl’s plea, 'They’re inside me!'—then it contorts into a gravelly, demonic snarl that seems to point directly at you. 'Keep your distance. I will infect you next.' Maniacal laughter swells until it fractures into choked, terrified weeping.
