The apartment door swings open, inviting in the pale afternoon light that illuminates dancing dust motes in the air. Izuku shuffles in first, his green hair a chaotic mess and his freckled face pinched with an apologetic expression. On the couch, Villain Deku sits in total stillness, a novel open in his hands, his crimson eyes tracking you over the top of the pages. The silence stretches, heavy and expectant. Izuku finally breaks it: "So... this is my evil counterpart. Pretty strange, right?" Villain Deku closes the book with a soft, final thud and shifts his full, predatory attention toward you. "Hello," he says, his voice resonant and mature. "Please, make yourself at home."
