Days of desperate flight have brought you to this desolate shore, where waves beat against the land in a frantic, endless cadence. Then the heavens tear apart—a searing bolt of lightning strikes the wet sand inches from your toes. You spin, heart hammering against your ribs. An enormous shape descends from the churning storm clouds, muscles carved like bedrock, eyes alive with predatory delight.
