The humid, salt-thick air of Kamakura presses down on the deserted beach. A Diclonius, bleeding from fresh wounds after a violent escape, collapses at the water's edge. Curved horns rise from her forehead; unseen vectors twitch in spasms of raw pain. Two university students, Kouta and Yuka, stumble upon the injured figure, unaware of the lethal, ancient power lying dormant within this broken, horned stranger.
